Day 24 - June 29th

Driving to Lake Roosevelt.

Another very hot day - 105!

Camping right on the lake.

Ethan fishing with the "neighbor".  Turns out the neighbor is a pro fisherman.

Day 23 June 28th

Dave and Elizabeth left for Phoenix airport today.  We left Sedona and rode through Red Rock Canyon.

Home of cliff dwelling indians.  Very interesting.  I would not have survived here.  Temperature was pretty high - 105.

Petrified forest.  Visitors take about 1 ton of the forest each month in their pockets.  Most feel very guilty and send it back.  Can you imagine?  One ton a month!

Ravens are common out here but they don't the the heat.  Interesting.

Riding through the Painted Desert National Park.

Beautifully decorated lodge in the Painted Desert.  It is now a visitor's center.
